About Us

NACH was founded to improve the end-of-life experience of older people – ensuring dignity is maintained whilst empowering family members and clinicians involved.

The executive team is led by Dr Zivai Nangati who is a senior palliative care specialist with more than 20 years’ clinical experience in the UK and Australia. She has held senior clinical leadership roles with expertise in improving patient experience. With a strong passion in Medical Education, she also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Teaching.

Her clinical work reflected a significant shift in palliative care — from predominantly cancer care to the growing needs of older people living with multiple diseases, advanced frailty, and dementia.

NACH focuses on strengthening clinical capability and confidence of clinicians such as GPs, involved in the care of older people needing a palliative approach.

Palliative care is inherently collaborative. We welcome partnerships with organisations committed to improving end-of-life care for older people.
